The Importance of Having Yearly Family Photos Taken (or, Why You Shouldn't Trust Your Own Selfie Game).

As a photographer, I often get asked why it's important to have yearly family photos taken. The answer is simple: because time moves so quickly, and you can't trust your own family's selfie game.

Think about it: one year can feel like a lifetime for a child. They grow and change at an incredible rate, and before you know it, they're all grown up. That's why it's so important to document their growth and development through the years with family photos. (And let's be real, no one wants to look back on a family album filled with blurry, poorly lit selfies.)

But it's not just about the kids. As adults, we change and grow too. We get new jobs, move to new houses, and add new members to our families. All of these life events are worth documenting and preserving for future generations to look back on.
