Hi, I’m Erica — a 40 - something mom of three, wife, high school art teacher and creative force/photographer behind Emersen Rose Photography.  

By day, I’m a Photography and Graphic Design teacher at Monroe Township High School in Monroe Township, NJ, where I’ve spent the past 20 years inspiring creative minds to see the world a little differently. I hold a degree in Computer Graphic Design and a Master’s in Secondary Art Education from Monmouth University, and my passion for the arts has shaped both my career and my outlook on life.

By every other moment, I’m a Mom & Photographer — fueled by my three incredible children, coffee, laughter, and a love for meeting new people. I started my photography business 14 years ago, like many other Mom's for wanting to capture their children's forever changing faces.  It’s been an incredible journey of growth, creativity, and connection. Photography, to me, is more than just an art form — it’s my love and therapy wrapped up in a creative blanket. It’s given me the chance to meet amazing people, tell their stories, and freeze fleeting moments that mean everything.

Whether I’m photographing families, toddlers, or creative portraits, my goal is always the same — to make you feel comfortable, have fun, and walk away with images that truly feel like you.

I’m constantly evolving with the times and refining my creative style, but one thing that never changes is my belief that photography should be personal, meaningful, and filled with heart.
